The Les petites pousses du lac multi-accueil day nursery in Bordeaux (33) has launched the Musique du monde en cr\u00e8che<\/em> project. The aim? To bring parents and their children together around musical practices, with the support of music therapist Florence Aubrun. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Music, a lever for expression and communication<\/strong><\/h5>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]In response to the problems of communication between parents and their children, and the isolation of families, the cr\u00e8che team decided to find a solution. The workshop was born out of the desire to develop <\/strong>links between parents and their children <\/strong>by adding an artistic and cultural dimension<\/strong>. In this way, for 2 hours a month, children and parents share moments of relaxation and fun helping children to develop their ability to listen, concentrate and express themselves<\/strong>, both in their relationship with their parents and in their relationship with the group.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Over the course of the sessions, the following topics are covered:<\/p>\n

  • Development and refinement of body awareness<\/strong>, more specifically locating one’s body in space, developing fine perception with the independence of the fingers towards touch and musical expression on the instrument in relation to the parent.<\/li>\n
  • Voice and vocal expression <\/strong>through nursery rhymes and vocal improvisation<\/li>\n
  • Development of global and fine motor skills<\/strong> using instruments such as djembes, marimbas, wood-blocks and bells.<\/li>\n
  • Listening<\/strong> via interiorizing instruments: specific chimes, sanza, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
