The &#8220;<em>Music for <\/em><em>a collaborative, joyful and inclusive School<\/em>&#8221; project involved 197 pupils, from pre-school to 5th grade, with the support of Marina Paglieri, music teacher, and Florent Deboeuf, school teacher. <\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #e11837;\"><strong>Project supported by the Fondation Foujita.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1741260629700{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221; el_class=&#8221;titre_sympa&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>A project for children<\/h5>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The Notre-Dame de Lourdes school admits pupils with a variety of cognitive profiles, including many with special educational needs: autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit with or without hyperactivity, dys disorders, high potential&#8230; The aim of the project is to develop <strong>cooperation<\/strong>, the <strong>pupils&#8217; cognitive functions<\/strong>, <strong>self-confidence<\/strong> and <strong>well-being<\/strong>, in the service of <strong>success <\/strong>for all, and more particularly for young people with special educational needs.<br \/>\nMusical practice and choral singing workshops are also tools for <strong>promoting mental well-being<\/strong> &#8211; by working to reduce stress and anxiety &#8211; and <strong>reconciling young people with school and learning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These workshops are particularly relevant to the school&#8217;s commitment to the ECHO* educational innovation program, which aims to prevent the most disadvantaged students from failing at school.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1741262308382{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221; el_class=&#8221;titre_sympa&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5>A project rooted in children&#8217;s daily lives<\/h5>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]All the pupils &#8211; 3 preschool classes and 5 primary classes &#8211; take part in <strong>music workshops<\/strong> led by <strong>Marina Paglieri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The inclusion of the workshop in the students&#8217; timetable establishes a weekly appointment with the teacher. <strong>The four-fold structure of the music education program<\/strong> &#8211; Singing and performing; Listening, comparing and commenting; Exploring, imagining, creating and expressing emotions; Sharing, exchanging and arguing &#8211; encourages the <strong>students&#8217; involvement<\/strong>, while enriching their <strong>musical culture<\/strong> and <strong>creative spirit<\/strong>. Over the course of the sessions, for example, students discovered instrument families using real instruments. They were also able to dance and listen to a variety of music &#8211; an opportunity to enrich their tastes and discover different cultures &#8211; and work on musical language: <strong>how can we
