Foujita Photographer<\/h2>\n

This is one of the lesser-known aspects of the artist’s work: his passion for photography. In 1929, he acquired the legendary Leica II camera. <\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]His photographs reflect his attention to scenes of everyday life, and reveal a talented photographer with a great sense of humor. Foujita often took documentary photographs, notably during his long journey through Latin America between 1931 and 1933, and later in China and Japan. The pictures show Foujita’s benevolent regard for the people around him, especially children. <\/p>\n
