Fondation Foujita x UNIQLO Collection:
A symbolic alliance between France and Japan
and a sharing of values around Art
Foujita is the love of cats, a deep admiration for women and an attachment to Parisian life.
This spring, UNIQLO is offering exclusive products created in collaboration with the Foujita Foundation(1) in its two Paris flagships, Opéra and Le Marais.
Season after season, the UTme! collection reinvents the timeless white T-shirt by fusing fashion and art.
Since March 10, 2025, it’s Foujita’s turn to imprint his singular touch on UTme T-shirts and tote-bags! A collection embodied by works of art and a figure emblematic of Franco-Japanese friendship.
The works selected reflect the themes dear to the artist’s heart and his dandyish, unclassifiable and endearing side:
- His cats, of course, tender but sometimes also wild;
- women, here elegant and melancholy;
- his self-portraits, real selfies before their time;
- and Paris, which he sketches with vivacity, humor and gaiety!

This local collaboration also extends to RE.UNIQLO Studio, where products can be repaired or customized with embroidery from the world of Foujita.

It also underlines the synergy between the Foujita Foundation and UNIQLO around a shared value: placing art at the heart of everyone’s daily life!
For example, the UNIQLO Le Marais store is offering an artistic experience with an exhibition highlighting the educational and teaching missions of the Foujita Foundation, illustrated by the project ” Nos portraits à travers Foujita ” (” Our portraits through Foujita “) carried out with young people from the horticultural and landscaping lycée Notre Dame des Jardins d’Apprentis d’Auteuil (2).
We hope this exclusive collection will appeal to fashion and art lovers alike.
