A Foujita capsule collection
at Uniqlo!
This partnership between the Fondation Foujita and Uniqlo is in line with the ties between Foujita and Uniqlo (originally from Japan, bridges between East and West, world-renowned, fashion, design, art… ), but also between the missions of the Fondation Foujita, focused on the education and integration of young people and disadvantaged families, with projects involving artistic practice and cultural openness, and Uniqlo’s CSR policy of supporting education and access to art for all.
Cats are Purrfect” is a limited UT T-shirt edition from Uniqlo featuring cats drawn by two world-famous artists, Andy Warhol and Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita, who loved cats and were loved by cats.
Released in Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan at the beginning of June, these T-shirts go on sale on July 6, 2018 at the Paris Opéra store, then from July 9, 2018 throughout France and Europe. This will be followed by Russia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia.
This capsule collection is available in 3 women’s versions, from size XXS to XXL, and 2 girls’ versions, from size 3T/4T to size 14.
Each T-shirt bears a hang tag with a biography of Foujita.



The income generated by this partnership for the Fondation Foujita will be used entirely to finance projects involving artistic practices and cultural openness, with the aim of promoting the education, training and integration of young people and families with educational, social or family difficulties, supported by Apprentis d’Auteuil and its partners.
